RIPEC Announces Bob Woodward to Deliver Keynote Address at 75th Annual Meeting

PROVIDENCE, RI (September 4, 2018) – Legendary journalist and author, Bob Woodward will deliver the keynote address at the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council’s (RIPEC) 75th Annual Meeting.  

Bob Woodward is an associate editor of The Washington Post, where he has worked since 1971. He has shared in two Pulitzer Prizes, first in 1973 for the coverage of the Watergate scandal with Carl Bernstein and second in 2003 as the lead reporter for coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He has authored or coauthored eighteen best-selling non-fiction books. Twelve of those have been #1 national bestsellers. His most recent book Fear: Trump in the White House will be released on September 11, 2018. 

Mr. Woodward is expected to address the American/global economy and the American Presidency.  

RIPEC’s 2018 Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.  The cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 pm; dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. Individual tickets can be purchased at https://Woodward_RIPEC.eventbrite.com.
